iOS 4.3 Update Released-Jailbreakers Do Not Update!

Apple released their mobile software update - iOS 4.3 for iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad. Most importantly this update will remove your untethered jailbreak! Wait for iOS 4.3 support to be added to greenpois0n or another tool is released before upgrading your iDevice! But this update leaves some devices behind...

These are the supported devices
iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3g/4g, iPad & iPad 2.





This update adds many new features & increased speeds for Safari mobile browser. Added features include new Mobile Hotspot allowing you to share your 3G data connection with multiple WiFi enabled devices, but you have to have a tethering plan from your carrier to use this feature.





This new iOS update also adds increased functionality for the AirPlay feature. Now allowing you to play video shot from your iPhone, iPod Touch 4g & now iPad 2, in addition to songs from your iTunes library to your Apple TV2 connected to an HDTV. Another streaming feature added in iOS 4.3 is iTunes Home Sharing. Accessing your iTunes library from any Mac or PC in your home on the same WiFi network. allowing streaming any song, podcast, movie or TV show in your iTunes library to your iPhone iPod Touch or iPad without downloading or syncing all over the airwaves!




Now surfing the web on iOS 4.3 mobile Safari is blazing fast with the new Nitro JavaScript engine. It runs JavaScript up to twice as fast as in iOS 4.2.1. And feature rich interactive sites with videos & animations load with increased speed & performance.





I saved my personal favorite for last. This feature requires an additional accessory to use that's not even out yet, but Apple's 30-pin to HDMI connector allows mirroring from iPad 2 to any HDTV in full 1080 HD. Anything from video to photos to apps all mirrored in Full 1080 HD on any HDTV with an HDMI port! It will be available as soon as the iPad 2 goes on sale & is also said to work with the iPhone 4.

If don't need a jailbreak or unlock you can upgrade your iOS firmware version in iTunes by checking for a software update. Go to iTunes, plug in your device & select *Check for software updates*

Tree Ninja: Trees of Doom Free Today Only!

Apple's App Store is still having an aftermath of
holiday sales. Today only Tree
Ninja: Trees of Doom is FREE TODAY
ONLY! The first app, Tree Ninja: Trees of Doom, is a very
simple, very cartoony & very addicting app! Your character
is a ninja in training, climbing trees in the forest while your
Sensei, 'Ol Master floats watching in his ballon basket. Sounds
easy enough right? But these aren't your average trees! To assist
you in climbing to the top there are mushrooms to use as mini
bouncing trampolines, tree branches for catapults & various
floating goodies like power-ups, shields & magical things
like floating mustaches to quickly shoot you further into the tree
tops! Only problem is not all that's lurking in the tree helps you.
There are parts of the tree where the bark is stripped off
& you can't hold on to. Every once in a while you'll find
little nasties like pois0nous purple waterfalls, floating little
devils & other enemies you want to avoid. Even though this
app is very simple & looks like a cheesy pre-teen Asian
cartoon adventure, it's game play is very addicting & hard
enough to make it challenging. The app does have online
achievements & leaderboards, but they decided to use Plus+,
instead of Apple's native Game Center. Even though I think Game
Center is flawed & needs many more features before it's a
real online gaming community, I like it better than Plus+. They've
also integrated Twitter & Facebook posting for bragging
your high scores, which more developers need to take advantage of.
The only real down sides to the game play in this app is the
ability to not go backwards down the tree (a feature all Super
Mario Bros fans will recognize instantly). This gets you in a jam
when you've gone to far on one side of the tree so when you jump
across you land on an enemy or obstacle. So even though you haven't
made a fatal move at that point, from there your only move is a
fatal. I'm not sure how the developers view this, they may just
think of this as another skill to use in the game. Other than this
occurrence(which is just me complaining, I guess), this app is
awesome! I haven't really developed a rating scale for apps
& games, maybe I'll start today? Overall I give Tree Ninja
4/5 *stars*, solid addictive game play good for hours of fun!

Infinity Blade Update Brings new Weapons Armor & Enemies!

It's here! After less than two weeks after it's release, Epic Games drops the first Infinity Blade Update! Some exploring gamers had already learned that some of these features were on their way shortly after
downloading the app, by way of the *Coming Soon* tab when the game is paused.

So now that it's here, let's get into the specifics of what this update brings to the game. First - New enemies, as far as I can tell there's only one new enemy in this update, The Marrow Fiend. It's said he devours his opponents & uses their bones as his sword & shield, Awesome!


Next is new items, First being five new swords to master!
* Bolt - Damage: +18 Magic: Lightning +4

* Ember - Damage: +20 Magic: Fire+8

* Unfaithful - Damage: +22 Magic: N/A

* Frostbite - Damage: +24 Magic: Ice +10

* Khill - Damage: +32 Magic: Poison +12






Next is five new shields to master!

With these added items, mastering them will increase your max level from 40 to 45! I know alot of people have been waiting for this, including me! See you on the leaderboards!

**UPDATE CRASHES... for those who are experiencing crashing, do a hard reset by pressing both Home & Power buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo(about ten seconds).
